Privacy Policy
10-Minute-Math is developed by Pitret Solutions. This policy covers our Android app and web app at 10minutemath.pitret.com. Last updated: 11 October 2026.
Who we are and how to contact us
Pitret Solutions operates 10-Minute-Math. Contact [email protected] for privacy questions, access or correction requests, and account or data deletion. Our developer website is https://pitret.com/.
Information you provide
For an account, we collect an email address and password. Passwords are stored as salted password hashes, not plain text. Player profiles include a name or nickname, school grade, and a selected country. Please use a nickname rather than a child’s full name.
We save practice information so you can see your results: submitted answers, challenge attempts and completion times, scores, accuracy, question history, and daily progress. Account and player IDs connect this information to the correct profile.
Guest play and device storage
Guest profile details and results are stored locally on your device or in your browser storage. Guest play still contacts our service to obtain questions. The Android app attempts to transfer guest progress when you create or sign in to an account. The web app currently keeps guest history in the browser, separate from account history; signing in does not import or erase it.
Your device/browser also stores sign-in tokens, onboarding preferences, and challenge-resume information. A browser and the Android app have separate local storage; guest progress is not automatically shared between them. Clearing app/browser data removes local information but does not delete an online account.
How we use information
We use information to create and authenticate accounts, deliver grade-appropriate questions, save and display results, calculate progress and rankings, support users, and protect the service from abuse.
The service processes connection information such as IP addresses and request times to deliver requests and limit abusive traffic. Our hosting and infrastructure providers may process technical connection information when providing the service.
Leaderboards and other recipients
Other signed-in players can see the player nickname, weekly points and rank on the grade leaderboard. Do not put private information in a nickname. Email addresses and passwords are not displayed on the leaderboard.
Service providers that operate our hosting, database, caching and email support may process information to provide those services. If you email support, your message is handled through our Gmail support mailbox. We may disclose information when legally required or when necessary to protect users and the service.
We do not sell personal information. This version has no third-party advertising, payment or analytics SDKs. Developer links promote Pitret Solutions; opening them takes you to a separate website. Fonts are bundled with the app/site, rather than requested from a font service at runtime.
Children and family use
10-Minute-Math is designed for children in grades 1–6. Parents/guardians can create accounts for children. Where a child uses an account, a parent or guardian should help them understand these practices and provide any permission required by applicable law.
Please provide only the information needed for practice, use a nickname, and avoid putting personal information into answers or support messages. We do not request precise location, contacts, camera, microphone or advertising-identifier permissions.
Parents and guardians can contact [email protected] to ask about a child’s information or request its correction or deletion. We may ask for information necessary to verify their authority. Do not send a password or identity document in an initial email.
Security and retention
Passwords are hashed and online features use account tokens to control access. Protect your password and sign out on shared devices. No system can guarantee absolute security.
We retain account and practice information while the account is in use, unless you request deletion. Guest information remains in local storage until it is cleared. Short-lived leaderboard caches are periodically refreshed.
Deletion requests are handled by Pitret Solutions after ownership verification. If information must be retained for a legal obligation or security reason, we will explain what is retained and for how long when responding to the request. Backup and infrastructure retention may differ from active account storage; contact us for information applicable to your request.
Your choices and deletion
You may practice as a guest, choose a non-identifying nickname, ask for access or correction, or request deletion of an account and associated data. In the app, open Profile → Request account deletion. On the website, visit /delete-account/. You may also email [email protected] directly.
Sending a request does not immediately erase data. We verify account ownership, process the request, and communicate the outcome. Uninstalling the app or signing out does not delete server data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the service or data practices change. The update date appears above. Material changes requiring further notice or permission will be communicated before applying those changes.
